Penteli, also Pendeli and Pedeli (Greek: Πεντέλη) is a community currently divided into Palaia Penteli or Old Penteli, and Nea Penteli or New Pentéli communities. The area in the western and the northern portion of Nea Penteli were made up of farmlands, while today it is covered with suburban development.
