Peristera (Greek: Περιστέρα for "pigeons") is a small village, now part of the municipality of Akrata and is also a settlement of the community of Nonakrida. It is located at the foot of the mountain Helmos or Aroania, at an altitude of about 1,200 m.

We leave Patitiri by boat and head along the coastline of Alonnisos and across to the coast of Peristera. After relaxing for a while we will re-board our boat and explore some of the coastline and small bays of Peristera before heading back to Alonnisos and Patitiri harbour.
