17-ketosteroid 17-ke·to·ste·roid (-kē'tō-stēr'oid', -stěr'-)
A steroid having a ketone group attached to its 17th carbon atom, especially any of those produced by the adrenal cortex and gonads and occurring normally in the urine. Also called 17-oxosteroid.
