Anatifa

A*nat"i*fa\, n.; pl. Anatif[ae]. [NL., contr. fr. anatifera. See Anatiferous.] (Zo["o]l.) An animal of the barnacle tribe, of the genus Lepas, having a fleshy stem or peduncle; a goose barnacle. See Cirripedia.

Note: The term Anatif[ae], in the plural, is often used for the whole group of pedunculated cirripeds.
