Boccherini

Boccherini was the first composer who wrote quintettes with two Violoncello parts.

Boccherini composed six concerti specially for the violoncello.

From that time Boccherini dedicated to him everything that he composed.

There were eight couples, and very good music—4 violins playing Boccherini's minuet.

Boccherini, then established in that city, entered into friendship with him, and scored several of his concertos for him.
