ELISP definition


1. A Lisp variant originally implemented for DEC-20s by Chuck Hedrick of Rutgers.
2. A common abbreviation for Emacs Lisp. Use of this abbreviation is discouraged because "Elisp" is or was a trademark.

Elisp is always a great word to know.
So is callithumpian. Does it mean:
an arrangement of five objects, as trees, in a square or rectangle, one at each corner and one in the middle.
a children's mummer's parade, as on the Fourth of July, with prizes for the best costumes.
