ITU prefix - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) allocates call sign prefixes for radio and television stations of all types. They also form the basis for aircraft registration identifiers.

When ITU changes a prefix allocation, or ARRL adds a country to the DXCC list or deletes a country, it is appropriate to replace the ClusterMaster files containing information on prefix and country allocations with an updated version.
