Japheth

God shall enlarge Japheth,
 And he shall dwell in the tents of Shem;
 And Canaan shall be his servant.

And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.

And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

But the philosophers are Greeks, descended from Japheth, who did not inherit either wisdom or Torah.

“Meshech” and “Tubal” are no hindrance to this view, if the names of the so-called “sons of Japheth” are critically examined.

We know from Genesis x:2 that Magog was the second son of Japheth.

So we are Japheth and Shem, and the colored population are Canaan.

It warmed him generously; but there was a boyish scowl for Japheth Pettigrass.
