An faster implementation of nawk written by Mike Brennan at Boeing in 1991 and distributed under GPL but distinct from GNU's gawk.
Interpreter version 1.1.3 has been ported to Sun-3, Sun-4/SunOS 4.0.3; Vax/BSD 4.3, ULTRIX 4.1; Stardent 3000/SYSVR3; DECStation/ULTRIX 4.1, MS-DOS/Turbo C++.
