Piozzi

She lies buried beside her beloved Piozzi at Tremeirchion church in the Vale of Clwyd.

From 1776 to 1809 Mrs. Piozzi kept a copious diary and note-book, called "Thraliana."

The appeal about to be hazarded on behalf of Mrs. Piozzi, will involve little or no risk of this kind.

Mrs. Piozzi remarks on this passage: "He teased Mrs. Cotton about her dry cascade till she was ready to cry."

Piozzi was the music master from Brescia who, a little over three years after Mr. Thrale's death, married the widow.

Mr. Leslie Stephen says: "Her love of Piozzi, which was both warm and permanent, is the most amiable feature of her character."
