The ulnare, intermedium and pisiform are comparatively large flattened bones, the others are small and cubical.

The pisiform also is well developed, but there is no radial sesamoid.

The pisiform is large and several other sesamoid bones occur.

The pisiform bone, situated at the external part of the first row of bone, is prominent posteriorly.
