Quin`de*cem"vir\, n.; pl. E. Quindecemvirs, L. Quindecemviri. [L., from quindecim fifteen + vir a man.] (Rom. Antiq.) One of a sacerdotal college of fifteen men whose chief duty was to take care of the Sibylline books.
