As a Portuguese, I was taken aback by the title of a recent editorial by Robert Romano (“Election 2004: No Europeans Allowed”, 3/18). Romano is peeved Democratic candidate John Kerry´s meeting with foreign leaders who told him he need to beat George Bush, and by his refusal to name those leaders.
