Ac`i*ne"t[ae]\ ([a^]s`[i^]*n[=e]"t[=e]), n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. 'akinhtos immovable.] (Zo["o]l.) A group of suctorial Infusoria, which in the adult stage are stationary. See Suctoria.
