Actinomycetaceae Ac·ti·no·my·ce·ta·ce·ae (āk'tə-nō-mī'sĭ-tā'sē-ē')
n.
A family of non-spore-producing, nonmotile, mostly facultatively anaerobic bacteria containing gram-positive, non-acid-fast, predominantly diphtheroid cells that tend to form branched filaments.
