An`nu*la"ta\, n. pl. [Neut. pl., fr. L. annulatus ringed.] (Zo["o]l.) A class of articulate animals, nearly equivalent to Annelida, including the marine annelids, earthworms, Gephyrea, Gymnotoma, leeches, etc. See Annelida.
