An*tis"cians\, Antiscii \An*tis"ci*i\, n. pl. [L. antiscii, Gr. ?, pl.; ? against + ? shadow.] The inhabitants of the earth, living on different sides of the equator, whose shadows at noon are cast in opposite directions.
