An`ti*spas"tic\, a. [Gr. ?. See Antispast.] (Med.) (a) Believed to cause a revulsion of fluids or of humors from one part to another. [Obs.] (b) Counteracting spasms; antispasmodic. -- n. An antispastic agent.
