a test used to detect whether a woman is pregnant by noting the effect on the ovaries of an immature mouse or rabbit injected with her urine.
Also called A-Z test.

named after S. Aschheim (1878–1965), German gynecologist, and B. Zondek (1891–1966), Israeli gynecologist born in Germany Unabridged
