Drilling machines, both hand and power, hand and ratchet braces and breast-drill stocks.

To break the seal, a hollow reamer or facing tool, fitted into a drill press or breast drill, is slipped over the post.

An ordinary breast drill is used in the construction of this drill press, it being rigidly secured to a piece of oak, A, 2 in.

For drilling small holes in metal, the breast drill shown in Fig. 1788 is employed.
