Cer`a*to*spon"gi*[ae]\, n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. ke`ras, ke`ratos horn + ? sponge.] (Zo["o]l.) An order of sponges in which the skeleton consists of horny fibers. It includes all the commercial sponges.
