CLISP language

1. Conversational LISP.
2. A Common Lisp implementation by Bruno Haible of Karlsruhe University and Michael Stoll. of Munich University, both in Germany. CLISP includes an interpreter, bytecode compiler, almost all of the CLOS object system, a foreign language interface and a socket interface. An X11 interface is available through CLX and Garnet. Command line editing is provided by the GNU readline library. CLISP requires only 2 MB of RAM. The user interface comes in German, English, French, Spanish, Dutch, and Russian and can be changed at run time.
CLISP is Free Software and distributed under the GPL. It runs on microcomputers (OS/2, Microsoft Windows, Amiga, Acorn) as well as on Unix workstations (Linux, BSD, SVR4, Sun4, Alpha, HP-UX, NeXTstep, SGI, AIX, Sun3, and others).
