Clostridium parabotulinum Clostridium par·a·bot·u·li·num (pār'ə-bŏch'ə-lī'nəm)
A bacterium that produces a powerful exotoxin and is pathogenic to humans; it was formerly classified as Clostridium botulinum types A and B.
