the measurement of volume or space by means of cubic units.

a system of such units, especially that in which 1728 cubic inches = 1 cubic foot and 27 cubic feet = 1 cubic yard, or that in which 1000 cubic millimeters = 1 cubic centimeter, 1000 cubic centimeters = 1000 cubic decimeters, and 1000 cubic decimeters = 1 cubic meter.

So is flibbertigibbet. Does it mean:
an arrangement of five objects, as trees, in a square or rectangle, one at each corner and one in the middle.
