Cypselae is always a great word to know.
So is quincunx. Does it mean:
an arrangement of five objects, as trees, in a square or rectangle, one at each corner and one in the middle.
a scrap or morsel of food left at a meal.

Plural cypselae (sĭp'sə-lē')
A type of dry fruit consisting of an achene with a closely adhering calyx, the characteristic fruit of the aster family. Dandelions produce cypselae in which the plume, or pappus, is actually a modified sepal.
