Seddons, of the 4th Hussars, showed great gallantry during the defence of the eastern bridge and was deservedly awarded the D.C.M.

I hear on good authority that the gunner will get the D.C.M.

Blofeld got the military cross for the night's work, and several of the enlisted men got the D.C.M.

This makes a coincidence in our family, two brothers having the M.M. and one the D.C.M.

To get rid of him, they put him into the trench mortars and within a month he had won his D.C.M.
