deep flexor muscle of fingers n.
A muscle with its origin in the anterior surface of the upper third of the ulna, with insertion to the base of the distal phalanx of each finger, with nerve supply from the ulnar and median nerves, and whose action flexes the distal phalanges of the fingers.
