Delivery Month

The month in which a contract expires and delivery of the underlying asset or cash is required.

Investopedia Commentary

Different types of futures contracts will have a series of different delivery months. As these months are specific to the underlying commodity, they will differ with a change in the specifications of the underlying or contract.
