descending artery of knee de·scend·ing artery of knee (dĭ-sěn'dĭng)
An artery with origin in the femoral artery, with distribution to the knee joint and adjacent parts, and with anastomoses to the several genicula arteries, and the lateral circumflex femoral and the anterior tibial recurrent arteries.
