an attempt to break into a password-protected computer or computer system with a software program that successively tries all the words in a large dictionary or other word list.
2.
an attempt by a spammer to obtain a list of valid e-mail addresses by testing possible usernames in combination with a domain name.

Dictionary attack is always a great word to know.
So is bezoar. Does it mean:
a calculus or concretion found in the stomach or intestines of certain animals, esp. ruminants, formerly reputed to be an effective remedy for poison.
an extraordinary or unusual thing, person, or event; an exceptional example or instance.
