Dirac   (dĭ-rāk')  Pronunciation Key 
British mathematician and physicist who developed a mathematical interpretation of quantum mechanics with which he was able to provide the first correct description of electron behavior. For this work Dirac shared with Erwin Schrödinger the 1933 Nobel Prize for physics.
