Seuss, Dr. [(soohs)]

The nom de plume of Theodor Seuss Geisel, a twentieth-century American author and illustrator who produced dozens of books for children. Dr. Seuss's books, such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas and The Cat in the Hat, contain fantastic characters and are written in whimsical verse, such as: “I do not like green eggs and ham. / I do not like them, Sam I Am.”
