a flash lamp, usually attached to a camera or housed within the camera body, that produces brilliant flashes of light by the discharge of current through a gas-filled tube.
Also called flashtube.

Electronic flash is always a great word to know.
So is workprint. Does it mean:
prefilmed shots such as newsreels available from specialized film libraries for inserting into a film to establish locale or atmosphere
the first positive print of a film, assembled from the dailies: used in the editing process
