E"o*lis\, n. [L. Aeolis a daughter of [AE]olus, Gr. A'ioli`s.] (Zo["o]l.) A genus of nudibranch mollusks having clusters of branchial papill[ae] along the back. See Ceratobranchia. [Written also [AE]olis.]
