E*ryth"ro*phyll\, Erythrophyllin \Er`y*throph"yl*lin\, n. [Gr. 'eryqro`s red + ? leaf.] (Physiol. Bot.) The red coloring matter of leaves, fruits, flowers, etc., in distinction from chlorophyll.
