Fork-tailed gull (Zo["o]l.), a gull of the genus Xema, of two species, esp. X. Sabinii of the Arctic Ocean.

Fork-tailed kite (Zo["o]l.), a graceful American kite (Elanoides forficatus); -- called also swallow-tailed kite.
