Fulcrum Point

A point of inflection (POI) on a graph where the pattern of the financial instrument's payout changes direction.

Investopedia Commentary

For example if the S&P 500 has been trending downwards for a number of months, the fulcrum point is the point at which the S&P starts trending upwards. Alternatively a fulcrum point can occur at the top of a security's price.
