the ratio of the rotational speeds of the first and final gears in a train of gears or of any two meshing gears.
2.
the ratio of the diameters of the pitch surfaces of any two meshing gears or of the numbers of their teeth.

Gear ratio is always a great word to know.
So is bezoar. Does it mean:
a scrap or morsel of food left at a meal.
a calculus or concretion found in the stomach or intestines of certain animals, esp. ruminants, formerly reputed to be an effective remedy for poison.
