geographical tongue ge·o·graph·i·cal tongue (jē'ə-grāf'ĭ-kəl)
n.
A chronic inflammation of the tongue characterized by distinct somewhat circular groupings of lesions bounded by a white band. Also called benign migratory glossitis, erythema migrans linguae, pityriasis linguae.
