glioblastoma gli·o·blas·to·ma (glē'ō-blā-stō'mə, glī'-)
n.
A glioma consisting chiefly of undifferentiated anaplastic cells frequently arranged radially about an irregular focus of necrosis, usually occurring in the cerebrum of adults. Also called grade IV astrocytoma.
