A market-weighted index of 33 stocks making up approximately 70% of the market value of all stocks traded on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. HSI Services Limited, a subsidiary of Hang Seng Bank, calculates the index. The firm also calculates several other indexes including an Asian index, a mid-cap index, and an index for companies traded in Hong Kong and headquartered in mainland China.
