Shiba Kokan, a contemporary artist who outlived Harunobu by forty-eight years, is obscurely connected with Harunobu's work.
He is not to be confused with the Masunobu who was Harunobu's pupil.
A print made to-day from the original blocks of Harunobu, did they exist, would have no value.

Komai Yoshinobu did work in the style of Harunobu during the seventies.
