Hayem-Widal syndrome Ha·yem-Wi·dal syndrome (ā-yěm'vē-däl', ä-yäɴ'-)
n.
Acquired hemolytic anemia characterized by jaundice, anemia, moderate enlargement of the spleen, increased fragility of red blood cells, and increased concentrations of urobilin in the urine.
