Hec`a*tom"pe*don\, n. [Gr. ? hundred feet long, ? ? the Parthenon; ? hundred + ? foot.] (Arch.) A name given to the old Parthenon at Athens, because measuring 100 Greek feet, probably in the width across the stylobate.
