hiatus semilunaris hiatus sem·i·lu·nar·is (sěm'ē-lōō-nâr'ĭs)
A groove in the lateral wall of the middle meatus of the nasal cavity, into which the maxillary sinus, the frontonasal duct, and the middle ethmoid cells open.
