Holmes-Adie syndrome (hōmz'-, hōlmz'-)
n.
A syndrome of unknown etiology that is characterized by tonic pupillary reactions in which tendon reflexes are absent or diminished. Also called Adie's pupil, Adie syndrome, Holmes-Adie pupil, pupillotonic pseudostrabismus.
