hydropyonephrosis hy·dro·py·o·ne·phro·sis (hī'drō-pī'ō-nə-frō'sĭs)
The accumulation of purulent urine in the pelvis and calices of the kidneys, usually the result of bacterial infection following obstruction of the ureter.
