Hy`po*clei"di*um\, n.; pl. L. Hypocleida, E. Hypocleidiums. [NL., fr. Gr. ? under + ? a little key.] (Anat.) A median process on the furculum, or merrythought, of many birds, where it is connected with the sternum.
