immunofluorescent stain im·mu·no·fluo·res·cent stain (ĭm'yə-nō-flu-rěs'ənt, -flô-, ĭ-myōō'-)
A staining method in which an antibody or antigen combines selectively with a fluorescent substance, thus labeling the immunogenic substance and indicating its presence.
