interlobular artery in·ter·lob·u·lar artery (ĭn'tər-lŏb'yə-lər)
n.

  1. Any of the arteries that pass between lobules of an organ.

  2. Any of the terminal branches of the hepatic artery passing between the hepatic lobules.

  3. Any of the branches of the interlobar arteries of the kidney passing outward through the cortex and supplying the glomeruli.
